February was a month used to work and travel around California, my new home. The first weekend of the month I went up to San Simeon to meet Jennie and tour Hearst Castle. Then we did some wine tasting in San Luis Obispo and stayed at the Madonna Inn. The next day we did some more wine tasting in northern Santa Barbara and then drove down to Los Angeles to watch the Super Bowl. Later in the month I did a little two day trip to Palm Springs. Stayed at the 7 Springs Hotel, had a massage, toured the downtown during a street fair and ate a pretty decent calzone. The next day I rode the Palm Springs Tramway to the top of the mountain overlooking Palm Springs and went on a little hike. Later I did a lot of shopping in Cabazon and then played a ton of black jack at Morongo Casino. I dig that place. Here's some pictures. |
