Of course my kitties are as fat and happy as ever. This is a rare photo of them getting along. Look how cute they are napping together! Shep also came to visit for a few days. He was in town for NANOG but I also toured him around and made him fall madly in love with LA. I think he wants to move here someday. That's him sucking on a mint at the Santa Monica Pier. Right as Shep left, Joe came to visit from New York. As usual he and I spent days and days talking about an unending amount of nonsense. It never ceases to amaze me that we find things to ramble on about after 3 and a half years. He's pictured here with the other Joe at the Ponte Vineyard in Temecula. Can you tell I love that place and spent more than one day eating and drinking all their best stuff? Beyond all the fun guests and business planning, there's also Halloween. I really didn't do anything for Halloween but I did spend an inordinate amount of time this month watching ghost shows. (Ghost Hunters is my favorite, closely followed by Most Haunted.) Finally I carved my Jack-o-Lantern late on Halloween night. Pretty scary looking pumpkin, ain't it? Check out Mao looking all black-cat-on-Halloween in that one picture! Also check out the cool LA skyline in the background of my pumpkin Jack! LA life is sweet and sunny and comfy. |
